FN Global Meat considers corporate social responsibility important.
For the welfare of all employees, we create a pleasant working environment in which safety and equality are central. We work in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere in which our Rotterdam roots come strongly to the fore. The rolled-up sleeves mentality is of paramount importance to us. In addition, we commit ourselves to social goals, because we believe that as a company we have a responsibility to give something back to society.
TAAI FOUNDATION
Cystic Fibrosis, or CF for short, is an incurable disease that mainly affects the lungs and digestive organs. 1,600 children and young adults suffer from this disease in the Netherlands. A life expectancy of 50 years is what CF patients in the Netherlands have to live with at the moment. Medical science is working hard to find the cure.
The Taai Foundation is working hard for this rare disease by raising money since 2020 for scientific research into better treatment and eventual cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Since its inception, FN Global Meat has committed to the Taai Foundation as a corporate donor because we believe that rare diseases also deserve full attention.
ZOO BLIJDORP
During the corona crisis in 2020, Blijdorp Zoo found itself in an awkward situation. FN Global Meat has since donated meat to the zoo for its birds of prey and large predators, among others. The Rotterdam zoo is a fine scientific institution enjoyed by the public.
