Founded in 1939, John Dee has four generations of experience producing and selling top quality Australian beef, which means they deliver to specification like no other.


John Dee stands for service, quality and consistency. An international reputation for quality, consistency and personal service in the beef processing industry takes generations to develop, and that is exactly what they have continually lived up to since being founded by the Hart family in 1939. When quality and cutting specifications really count, John Dee delivers.


Based in the Darling Downs region of Southeast Queensland, John Dee keeps production as local as possible to support the community and ensure product quality. Cattle are sourced from nearby farms in the Southern Downs and New England Tableland regions, while operations are supported by their feedlot partners.



FN Global Meat imports two different meat programs from John Dee:


John Dee Silver

The Silver program represents selection of the best crosses of British and Continental cattle breeds. The young bulls are fattened to specification for at least 120 days. This ensures a nice conformation in meat and fat ratio.


John Dee Gold Angus
Gold Angus represents 150-180 day mid-fed cattle of high quality Black Angus beef. This beef delivers in all areas that matter such as texture, marbling, flavor and consistency.
